INTRODUCTION .
LOOK AT THE STARS DAY AND NIGHT

Slowly the soft light in the planetarium is turned down, and at the same time a myriad of stars appear, so that you feel that you are carried back to a clear and frosty night in the depths of the country.

However, you are sitting comfortably in a soft chair and are looking forward to exciting and intense experiences from the fascinating world of astronomy.

The planetarium is a multimedia room in the proper sense of the word. With its sound and lighting system, video, slides and the advanced star projector the spectators are surrounded by a total experience.

The planetarium is a circular room that can accommodate 57 persons in curved rows of chairs, like in a theatre. The ceiling of the room is a dull white hemisphere, 11 metres in diameter.

On the this dome we are showing stars, planets, constellations, comets and many other astronomical phenomena.

At the regular daily shows at 11 am, 1 pm and 2 pm (except Monday), and Wednesday also at 8 pm the starry sky at the current season is shown. The planetarium also offers special educational shows.

Furthermore, the planetarium can be used for lectures, video performances, multimedia presentations, concerts, dancing, theatre, and other cultural activities. The planetarium can be hired for special arrangements by firms, clubs, institutions, etc.
